Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser

I use this cleanser after I have had a cosmetic procedure and need to treat my skin minimally and gently. It is mild and calming. It does not remove much makeup, but I use micellar water for that.

I have used many milky facial cleansers in the past, Biologique Recherche being a favorite but then got hooked on long oil cleansing or balms. I decided to switch up my routine for a more simple routine with finding a few products versus a long multi step Korean skin care routine. Decided to go back to trying a milky cleanser. My skin gets dry in the winter.
I have used this product a few times usually at night. I rinse it off with water then go over my face with Micellar water and follow with a serum and oil.
This goes on smooth, is easy to rub into your skin. I like using it to take off sunscreen. I don’t wear makeup since I am really concentrating on a good skincare routine that makes my skin look healthy versus having to cover it up. While it says no rinse, I have taken it off with Caudalie cleansing water (which I have recently added to my routine) and like the results. My skin feels very soft after using this. My daughter has used it to take off her makeup and she says it works well. I feel it is a gentle cleanser. It is easy to rinse or wipe off versus feeling you have leftover product sitting on your face.

As we all know double cleansing is non negotiable, I like to use this cleanser first because its gentle and gets all the make up off. It's got a milky consistency which easily slides my mascara off. Need to re-buy, (once I run out) !

I use this instead of a makeup remover balm as my skin is super sensitive. Apply with my hands and then rinse off. Great product and very gentle.

I have very sensitive skin that can flare up so easily. This is my go to for gentle cleaning. I also dampen a cotton oval and the use this a gentle makeup remover!

This is gentle alright. It removed my lipstick but it did not remove my mascara. I loved the lotion like texture but it needs to remove more than lipstick for me to purchase again.
