Formulated with the highest concentration of natural salicylic acid, this ultra-light yet potent gel serum purifies pores, zaps blemishes, and purges excess oil, blackheads, and bacteria. Caudalie’s natural salicylic acid (a BHA, or beta hydroxy acid) is clean, powerful, and oil soluble, which allows it to penetrate pores, targeting the most stubborn pimples caused by bacteria and dead skin. While the salicylic acid works hard to flush out excess oil and clarify clogged pores, rosewater works to your enhance glow and hydrate skin. The formula is further enriched with antioxidant grape seed polyphenols to protect the skin and prevent the oil inside your pores from oxidizing, or turning black, which is essentially a blackhead. A complex of noncomedogenic essential oils provides antiseptic benefits to calm the skin and keep it clear, leaving it smooth and soft. Powerful yet soothing, this serum is safe for sensitive skin and is recommended for combination to oily skin, as well as those with hormonal breakouts.
- Caudalie recommends using this serum all over the face in the morning and night. It may also be used as a spot treatment for problem areas. The formula is 100 percent fragrance-free, with a scent that comes from natural essential oils.

In a clinical self-evaluation test of 30 volunteers, after 28 days of twice-daily application:
