This is the best face cream to put after retinol face treatments. It calms the skin and it truly alleviates any irritation that retinols can cause. I use it right after I put my retinol at night and the morning after using a retinol (I do not use retinols daily, only a couple of times a week). Highly recommend this cream. Even my husband is using it as a moisturizer after applying a cream prescribed by the dermatologist.

Best protectant cream for Tretinoin users

This is by far the best protective balm for me. I’m a new Tretinoin user, and preventing irritation is a must. I’ve used their previous LRP Cicaplast Balm and know how well it works to protecting my skin from irritation. Just started using this new version and it’s really, really good.

Great replacement

A product I used was discontinued and I got this as a replacement. A little goes a long way and it’s been especially great this winter. Only need to use it a couple times a week but could probably use it less often in the spring. Great price.

Saving my sensitive skin

I have dry, sensitive skin with rosacea. I’m familiar with La Roce Possay products - cleanser, moisturizer, tinted moisturizer…but the Cicaplast has been a total game changer for me! The consistency is that of a balm but it’s not sticky. I’m in love!!! I’ve already purchased a 2nd tube to ensure I don’t run out.

I adore this balm. I always have extra on hand during the winter months so i never run out. It is absolutely a must have item for me. Face, lips, hands, its good for everything.

This cream is very dense, not thick or sticky, but dense to create a good barrier during winter months.

LOVE LOVE

This cream is awesome, I love it for regular use, or if I had a peel or procedure done, it’s so hydrating and repairing. It’s always sold out, but for good reason. I do wonder if this version/ingredients is the same as the US versions, would love to see that on this site, a comparison between ingredients that each countries allow and don’t allow. Other than that, this cream (I wouldn’t say it’s a “balm” but heavier cream) is something I’ll never be without!
